Amendment to Barnseys Last Chance
Racing on May 20 is amended to include a second race immediately after the scheduled race, starting at 1pm.
The added race will be signaled by the flying of the answering pennant on the finish line as the first boat finishes.
Any boat that is well behind in a race and thus holding up the programme will be considered to have sailed a shortened course and will be advised by hail.
Such boats will be timed on their last lap with a finishing time calculated as if they have sailed the complete race.

Old Farts Winter Series – Sailing Instructions
It is time to put down the remote control and dust off the winter sailing gear for the Old Farts Winter Series that begins on Tuesday 3rd April 2012. Of course it is open to all ages and anyone that can take a sickie from work to challenge the town fossils are most welcome to try and we all know that any boss that sacks or stops the pay of anyone attending a yacht race is a bum!
The committee of the OFS (Old Farts Series) has spent all summer preparing the sailing instructions for this prestigious series for which people spend thousands to win a bottle of cheap wine. The sailing instructions are here so please read them and digest this wealth of information before putting the boat in the water for the 1pm start.
Good luck and good sailing.
